Ukrainian Music Heritage Collection
KeySound Records team just recently finished collaboration work on mixing, stem mastering, marketing, licensing and international publishing deal of the"Homo Sapiens" - Macrosystem band debut album.
The band's founder believes that music is capable of influencing human behavior and assisting people in the formation of their particular view of the world.
The songs we listen to, or, in other words, the information that song creators convey to the world affects us. The main goal of this album is to further the development of mature, rational, and useful thoughts in people's mind.
Talking about the type of music the band plays, this album unites three genres that became immensely popular in the 21st century: Metal, Rap, and Dubstep. The combination of the aforementioned music genres aims to strengthen the effect of the songs' poetry, which the band believes is quite influential itself. Moreover, the "mixed-genres" accompaniment represents an effective vehicle for transporting authors' thoughts to listeners directly.

"Ukrainian Music Heritage" is a retrospective anthology of Ukrainian popular music from the Soviet era. From million-unit sellers across the USSR; national underground hits banned by Soviet cultural censorship; Ukrainian belcanto crooning of the 50’s; psychedelic beats of the 60’s; folk rock and disco-fusion of the 70’s; to romantic ballads of the 80’s.
The anthology represents myriad shades of the soul of Ukrainian singing from the age of Soviet time.
In the especially difficult period of economic collapse in the Ukraine from 2013-2015, Ukrainian and American teams worked diligently to save this unique historical music collection from total extinction. An astounding number of warehouse tapes and overplayed vinyl records have been digitized, mastered and restored using the best recording technologies and techniques. They have been given new life.
All tracks were restored and re-mastered in the USA from the original magnetic tapes and vinyl records by Edgar R. Keepoff, Grammy Voting Member, audio / mastering engineer and producer at KeySound Records Studios, NYC, during 2013-2015. Original recordings were provided by the National Radio Company of Ukraine, saved and digitized by the Kraina Mriy record label team, managed by Ukrainian mega star, Oleg Skrypka "Vopli Vidopliassova".
